Ok...so I'm pretty sure Lily said "da da" on Thursday night. She had been a bit sick all week and was pretty fussy at bed time. Josh was holding her and trying to soothe her and saying "daddy loves Lily" (one of his favorite sayings which has accompanying hand motions, so cute!).She looked right at him and said "blah blah". We both sort of smiled and said "da da" back to her. She repeated it a little clearer "dlah dlah". This continued for a while with us saying it and her repeating. It was awesome!
The next morning she did it again. She has said it a few more time since then, maybe not quite and maybe not totally intentional, but still...first words! Yay!
