New Car Seat Guidelines

This morning on the Today show, a representative from the American Academy of Pediatrics went over the new car seat guidelines and I have to admit I was surprised. This is very different than what I have been told previously. Check it out!

    4'9"?!?! HOLY COW!!! I know some middle school & high schoolers who would have to be in booster seats!! Do they make booster seats for adult midget drivers!?! *sigh*

    Apparently in Europe, the children are rear-facing until 4 y/o. But then again, drivers there are AWFUL.
